The number one reason why I like Fox Trot so much is the fact that I am a geek and Jason is just so funny in the ways of geekdom.
Oh, and he forgot to include an end line function. Poor thing is just going to keep wrapping around the chalkboard.

Oops you are right it is 500.
[Edit] As an explanation, other than my incredible lack of brain power today. I aways start at zero and use "<", as that way I don't screw up or have to do anything differently when iterating over an array.

Jason is definitely what makes Fox Trot so cool. His interactions with his sister are funny, too.
I noticed that the site Farmgirl linked to said that their viewers also like Calvin & Hobbes, Doonesbury and Bloom County which all happen to be on my list of favorites. Definitely some intelligent writing in all of them.

I only wish he wouldn't repeat the comics in the paper. It's such a letdown when you turn to the comics and find a rerun.

(I didn't even remember beginning this thread months ago).
Foxtrot is just the greatest. Except a couple weeks ago they had one where he takes "baseball" literally -- and my chemistry-minded son had to explain it to me! (that he was using a "base" chemical on the ball.... <sigh>) Made me feel very dumb.

Yeah. Grounding is definitely a good idea. But you don't need no fancy bracelet or nuthin, just leave the machine plugged in (and turned off) and touch the power supply before starting. Or so I've been told, and I haven't zapped anything since. Posted by ak (Member # 90) on :
Around here the humidity is so high that except in mid winter, we don't have any static problems. And yeah, the case of the power supply ought to be grounded. Also any metal case of any electrical appliance that has a 3 prong plug.

LOL, I was looking at other comics and found this.
That actually happened to me once, I went to an electronics store and some employee was repeatidly asking me if I needed any help. After looking around and seeing nothing of interest I left the store and he followed me into the parking lot continuosly asking if I needed help looking for something.
