Awwww . [Blushing]

To get a screen shot press the print screen key (probably 'PrntScrn'). Then open up paint or another image editing program and go to Edit->paste. An image of your screen should appear. If you don't have a website to host it on go ahead and send it to me at wahra@babylonia.flatirons.org and post here to tell me. [Smile]

With apologies for the poor image quality – on the first file, anyway... (for the sake of those with dialup).

Or, mellower... [Cool]

Edit:

I find the trick is having real instruments and using GB as recording software rather than building entire songs from loops.

Though I'm a big music fan, all of my actual computerizied sound was done by taking mp3 tracks I'd ripped off of one of my CDs (at high kbps thank-you very much [Wink] ). Every once in a blue moon I would want to play songs in programs (using SDL API if anyone cares) I would use winamp to convert to .wav raw and then load the entire file into memory and just play it that way. I feel pathetic, I think I'll go sit in a corner somewhere now. [Embarrassed]

Hobbes [Smile]

Posted by twinky (Member # 693) on :

Do you play any instruments?

Posted by Hobbes (Member # 433) on :

From 3rd to 6th grade I played piano. Then I played cello up until Junior year when I ran out of time. I like to think I was good at it (I managed to play at Carnagie Hall [Cool] ), and I'm hoping to start playing again next year when I don't share a room that's 8.5'x15' but as right now I'd have to say no.

I don't have a decent microphone though, so ... yah... even if my talents resume next year I doubt you'll hear them.
