I just knew it. The last book is sooooo big, and soooo good that kids are getting headaches from non-stop reading fits.

Of course, this is one Doctor's opinoin.

(snort) I think people should be more worried about kids breaking their backs carrying the book around...

As though kids need another reason to hate reading!

*sniff* Amateurs.

oy vey.

They are amateurs. I read that book in about 7 hours (broken up, of course).

I agree, amateurs. I get headaches from Tolkien, worrying about the fate of the world, Terry Goodkind, if Richard and Kahlan will ever save the world and be TOGETHER, Robin Hobb, if Fitz will EVER BE HAPPY...that's never going to happen *sigh* such if life. But when I read the 5th I was basically laughing the whole time because Harry was pissed off and Ron and Hermione were fighting the whole time.

I'm sorry, who takes their kid to the doctor for a "dull headache"? Especially when the cause is this easy to pinpoint? What, the parent couldn't say "put the book away for tonight," and see if the headache went away?
