[Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!] People whine about crossing the Pacific in 12 hours on a jumbo jet with cocktails and free peanuts. What a feat! [Hat]

Sorry, a minor recreational trip with a GPS and satellite phone doesn't even come close to being daring

I am beginning to think that you and Tom Davidson are actually the same person, aspectre. [Razz]

She can sleep IN the surfboard too. so it is more like a small sailboat than a true surfboard. BUt I still think it is cool!

This is amazing. Anyone who thinks it's no big deal, come on, your turn next! [Smile]

My goal was to go around the world in a paddle boat. I always thought that was daring, but a paddle boat is like an ocean liner compared to a surfboard.

It is certainly incredibly impressive.

I dream of someday being able to convince people that one of my useless, pointless hobbies is impressive in quantity. How much do you think it would take to get people to think marathon sessions of D&D are cool?

Wow! That is cool! [Big Grin]
are you talking about the RPG or mini's?

That's nothing, I beat Halo on legendary.

lol, no that is pretty cool. Although I imagine it might be a pretty boring trip.

Her accomplishment is impressive, but this impresses me even more. I've run marathons, and I'm usually completely worthless for a week or two afterwards. It's incredibly enervating. That this guy could complete seven back-to-back marathons (with the jet lag of traveling around the world) is absolutely astounding. All of this, and he's almost 60 years old and has had double-bypass surgery.
