In DC, the public school system only got a girls' soccer league two years ago. My particular school, however, has had a girls' soccer program for quite a while now. So to keep things a little more competitive, my school's JV team has been playing in the city league against the other newly-formed varsities (none of the other schools have JV teams). Our varsity plays a series of scrimmages against independent schools. So that means that us JV folk get to play for the city title. Unfortunately, we lost , but the Washington Post had an article on our game and the boys' game, with a prominent picture of my butt. from a photographer's point of view, it is a good shot, though. and big kudos on getting in the washington post. where i come from (middle of nowhere), that's a pretty big deal.

I recalled this thread when I was reading the newspaper and they had an ad for the Nutcracker that said "Great seats still available!". If I knew ballet terms I could tell you how the guy was situated.

Both pictures (the one in the first post and the one labeled "here" in a subsequent post) are the same picture, but different web addresses.
