They all make the same points - points that are supposedly simple enough that even little kids can understand them - things like "Generosity brings joy" or "Family is more important than work" and so on. Why then are the lessons forgotten on December 26th every year?

I'm not really sure the mesages are rememebered on December 25th either. People are selfish, they want things for themselves, while humans are the only being that are capable of making personal sacrafices for strangers, we still don't do it often. And of course people just see these things as simple stories that make them feel warm fuzzies, and don't really take in the actual meaning of them anymore. Satyagraha
