Feeling bored, I decided to make a Hatrack selector test like the dozens of "which <work of fiction> character are you?" ones floating around out there.
Now I feel that this requires some disclaimers. I personally doubt that most people who take this and are on the list will get themselves. This is both because of the flaws in the system and the flaws in the questions I made. For one, It seems to me that a "Not Sure" response is the same as a "disagree" response. This is because when setting up the scoring part, all I could do was select who would agree with the statement. Talk about your lame ways to score it.
Also, I'd imagine that some of my guesses are wrong as to who would choose what .
Anyway, TSmith took it and got himself, so I wonder.
Lastly, I know my questions could have been a lot better, any suggestions on replacement ones? And maybe having Ced, Dobie, or Baldar on was a bad idea considering I doubt any of them will take it, and theres not really any hatrackers like them. I suppose I should replace them too.

Awesome, two more direct hits.
I'm still tweaking it though, and will change Lalo's scoring a bit for one.
I'll leave the confirmed ones alone though.
Since the first post, I've gotten rid of Ced and Dobie as results, and the next one to go is Baldar. Not only is he not here anymore, but i put him there as a conservative, and we have a few on there now. I got rid of the "are you banned" question since nobody on the list is now . Or won't be after Baldar gets the axe...
I may also replace Leto II, since nobody seems to be getting him. The reason for this is that I really don't know which questions he would agree to . So either someone needs to help me score him, or I'll lose him too.
So far I've added myself and katharina. I need one more to replace Baldur, and a possible replacement for Leto. Any suggestions? I would put Belle on there but hasn't been here for a while.
CT maybe? Slash? Jeni? David Bowles? Icarus?

Well, I did get rid of that gap in my teeth. Ever since that time I've been scorchingly hot. And since you're LDS, I imagine it was that question that gave you away.
While I love the test, and agree with how it rates how we measure up to others on political/religious issues, I was wondering if there's a way to go beyond that and measure how we well we get along with other hatrackers. I mean, there are a bunch of people at the bottom of my list whom I think are way cool and belong at the top of my list.

I got a quite different list until I changed the priorities on some of the questions. This has a bigger effect on the results than I would have thought.

Okay guys, celia has replaced Baldar as a result, and I have changed a couple of aka's results to be more accurate (though I think I did a pretty good job picking them ).
Lalo is not updated yet, and I must say I am sad that I screwed up on Moose . Its interesting that you know me well enough to guess how I screwed up though. Maybe you can help me fix it?
Actually I'm also worried about Ralphie and Bob's scores, since I don't know you guys' politics very well (or at all in Bob's case).
As for adding more people and questions, the inability to do this is one of the more annoying things about this quiz generator. I can do it, but it would require me to start over pretty much. You can have up to 25 results and 24 questions. Maybe I will make a new one later tonight, or someone else could. Or maybe someone can find me a better quiz generator (since I don't have the time to write the code myself ).

Edit: I think the test may have pat encoded against ascii "bird" rather than for. And I'm probably showing up pat because I'm conservative but am not sure whether Bush is a great president.

Okay guys, sorry I haven't done anything with the test in a while, but I have abn excuse.
My laptop finally died on me. It was dropped by my brother a while ago, and had problems since then because the case was busted a bit. I didn't replace the case because it wasn't covered for dropping in the warranty, and it would have been half the cost of a new computer to replace it. So I kept tweeking it to get it to stay functional until I could get a new computer. Well, fate intervened and now I need to buy a new one whether I can afford one or not. Oh well.
So for a few days to a week or so I won't be on hatrack much. Right now I'm at an internet cafe, and time == money and theres other stuff I need to do .
