I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who know, so I'm curious. Where's the best place to go to get a free web page? Basically I just want a nice little personalized main page and a photo album. I have a digital camera I'm itching to use.

And of course, the easier to use and the more extras they supply the better.

Use geocities and then stick a
code:
 <noembed>

tag after the
code:
 </html>

tag in the code. (This gets rid of all ads)

Netfirms. Though Geocities without ads sounds decent, if it works.

I agree with Fugu www.1and1.com (I told him about it)
I've been using them since their deal came out, it's
500mb space
10g bandwidth per month, (with 99 cents for every gig you go above.
no adds
free for three years, it's a promotion that they're doing, you get 99.9% uptime, and great service, I love them.

I also am using 1and1 for free web space. Awesome deal!

My only question about 1and1 is...what do I do after the 3 years? [Big Grin]

Thanks for the help so far...please keep more suggestions coming, I'm sure plenty of other people will take advantage of this as well.

After three years, you can just cancel (they don't even take your credit card number), personally I already plan on keeping it, which costs I think $25 a year.

Correction, it's $29 (I just checked). And by the way, if you're willing, I could probably share my account with you, and if you're willing to pay $5 a month for a domain, I could just put another domain onto my webspace, save you the trouble of having to deal with free servers with horrible service.

Umm, I believe that number is a per month number for 1&1, Bernie. And its a per year charge for the domain.
