I'm freaking dying for a sandwich here. I haven't been to my favorite deli in weeks. Maybe months. I've had a craving for pastrami going for quite some time. In the last week or so I've also been thinking about the turkey and avocado sandwich. To top it all off, I may be moving to a different office (in a different city), which means saying goodbye to the only good deli I know of. This means I will be going in for a farewell sandwich this week. But now I'm deeply craving two different sandwiches. They're too big to eat two, and if I get either one I'll be disappointed.

What am I going to do?

PS: ARGH! Now I want KFC as well!

Pooka's going to get you Mike! I'm afraid that I have no choice but to report you.

Come hang out with me. I know of a great (and affordable) deli in downtown Salt Lake (a mere 45 minutes away), and I live next door to a KFC.

I take it this is yet another shot at threads with profoundly misleading titles.

BTW: if you go KFC, avoid the popcorn chicken. They're poison for your digestive tract.

But I want the popcorn chicken! And the boneless barbecue wings! And a bucket of extra tasty crispy! And some chicken littles! Do they even have those anymore? I don't know!

Oh, my poor stupid stomach and its unreasonable cravings...

Obviously, sensei is not thinking. You get both sandwiches under the pretense of saving one... Then you fold and eat them both! That way, the ensuing stomach pains cause you to go off sandwiches for a little while, effectively ridding you of the problem of withdrawal until you can find a decent deli.

Edit: Semantics.

More proof, for those who needed it, that Ryuko is brilliant.

Michael Jackson did not molest a little kid!!! Sure, he's a little odd, and wierd, and has a few strange habbits that happen to be having sleep overs with kids in his Neverland Ranch... but he did not molest a little kid!

No, I will not make out with you!

You know popcorn chicken is 70% oils, 30% pressed chicken sweepings out of the bottoms of the vats, right?

It's what falls out of the nugget machines.

Mmmm.... Pressed chicken sweepings... ::drools::

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

And Chicken Littles, of course, are those bits soaked in water and pressed into some sembelance of a patty.

Good god those things are vile. I can't believe that I liked 'em when I was in high school.

It's not really chicken even. The "chicken is grown in vats. They don't have beaks or feathers, but they each have 8 wings and 8 legs. That's why they go by KFC now, they can't use Chicken in the title.

I've heard it's mostly hydra meat, although occasionally they'll use a chimera. They're both surprisingly heart healthy meats.

I've heard that McDonalds is looking into using 30% minotaur in their burgers, and I have it on good authority that the Chicken Whopper is actually mostly harpy.

Ahem.

(I'd eat it anyway, though.)

I *guarentee* you, Mike, that you won't find any urban legends about the use of mythological creatures in fast food over at Snopes. That makes it true, right?

I'm so hungry right now.

Yeah, I'm jonesing for a McScilla.

Charybdis McNuggets with cheap sweet and sour sauce...

ARGH! Leave me alone, stomach! It will be lunch time soon enough!

DARK HELMET: There it is, Planet Druidia, and underneath the air shield, ten thousand years of fresh air. We must get through that air shield.

COL SANDURZ: We will, sir. Once we kidnap the princess, we will force her father, King Roland, to give us the combination to the air shield. Thereby destroying Planet Druidia and saving Planet Spaceballs.

DARK HELMET: Everybody got that. Good! When will the princess be married?

COL SANDURZ: Within the hour, sir.

DARK HELMET: Well, I hope it's a long ceremony, 'cause it's gonna be a short honeymoon. (takes a drink of coffee) Mmmmmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmmm.

[Col Sandurz hits his back. Dark Helmet spits out coffee and his mask falls down.]

DARK HELMET (mask down): Hot! Too hot!

Stupid microwave...

Nope.

[Edit: Oh, fine, Noemon. Go and post faster than me so my explanation makes no sense.]
