My mom was astonished that I don't watch TV or read newspapers. How can I be so oblivious to current events? I then realized that I get all of my news from internet headlines and get all the opinions on my news from Hatrack. And I seriously trust the opinions of Jatraqueros to be informed, and I ususally get a good look at both sides of an issue. In fact, I think I prefer Hatrack news to any of the major networks.

Call me crazy...

I get annoyed when Hatrack News is not on the ball, and I am forced to learn about things elsewhere. [No No]

Well, you told me to. I do agree. It's fascinating to read the plitical and news discussions on Hatrack.

I was just kidding about you being crazy, but it does say to call you crazy at the end of your post.

I subscribe to Hatrack News as well. *grins* I used to read the newspaper daily, but it kept getting stolen (darn condo). So I gave up on the newspaper, and soon found I didn't need to read it anyway because anything worth knowing was likely to be posted either here or on my LiveJournal's friends list.

Hatrack is the source of most of my news, too. I skim the headlines of the Times, but that's about it other than this place. And sometimes I'll see the news on my way to and from the lunchroom...
