Ok, I know it's really pathetic that I'm so incredibly happy about getting a birthday card-but I've always watched other people get cards and have everyone in our group sign them, and signed plenty myself, and it was nice, but I never got one before, and I always wanted to. And now, I just got a card at work, that everyone signed. And I'm really really happy!!!!! Ok, shutting up now.

thanks. And I have gotten birthday cards before, and presents from a few friends-just never a birthday card where a lot of people signed it and all that. *is happy*

Ah yes..I've never gotten those either. Those are the coolest things to get, especially when comedians sign them.

I understand exactly how you feel, Toretha. When I started my job at the bookstore, my birthday was just a month or so away. They do birthdays up big at the bookstore. I had never worked somewhere where they actually bought you presents--your coworkers, I mean. I was overwhelmed when I got my fully-signed card. It really means something. Good on ya!
