So it snowed in Central Ohio. And then it rained. And then it got cold. Now the alley by which I enter the "parking lot" by my house has become a new kind of fun. Since a plow or a salt truck probably couldn't even get through, there are sheer ice ruts where tires go, and crusty, frozen slush otherwise. The extra fun part is that right where the lot is, the alley takes a nosedive into the street I live on. One consequence of the ice is the pleasant sound of spinning tires every half hour or so by an unknowing party trying to get up the incline. The other result, for those of us who think we're smart by going the back way, is an uncontrollable, adrelanie-inducing freeslide down the incline into the street and oncoming traffic. I got to do this twice last night. After not getting hit either time (my lucky stars are wallowing in thankfulness), I decided to suck it up and park on the street.

This will apparently continue until sometime next week when the temperature decides to go above freezing.

Anyone else have any ice stories?

Yes... [Angst]
But I'm saving that one for later.
