Can't play Yahoo games at work, I'm afraid.

A game on Yahoo Games? Tempt me not!

Actually, my computer seems to be having some unresolved Java issues.

I always watch all three of the original trilogy when I get sick.

It's a tradition!

Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :

And if anyone wants you to do something productive instead, put on a really whiney voice and say:

"But I was going to go to Tashi Station to pick up some power converters."

That's close to eight hours! Before I could fidish watchig theb all, Cor ad the kids would cob hobe, ad I would have to figure out what we are doig about didder, etc!

No, no, no. You're sick. You don't have to figure out anything. You have to watch movies.

I'd like to point out to everyone that because "poor, sick Joe" here hasn't even had a cold in over two years I don't think he deserves too much sympathy... [Wink]

Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :

Jeni, that may be true. But he DOES deserve 8 hours of Star Warsy comforting.

Posted by lcarus (Member # 4395) on :

But Jeddi, that's two years id which I have't asked for ady cold-related sybpathy, as opposed to people like you who do't take ady care of yourselves and thed wat sybpathy a couple of tibes a year!

It sounds to me like somebody needs a noseblow, at least in the original sense of the word.

You don't happen to have any of your favorite shows on DVD, do you? If you do, just watch those. They oughtta be able to waste some of your time.

This would be a lot easier to set up if you were on AIM right now.

I'm not afraid of a little Ick.

Have you played Hamlet -- The Text Adventure?

http://www.robinjohnson.f9.co.uk/adventure/hamlet.html

quote:
PALACE (OPHELIA'S ROOM)

I am in a room in the palace with horrid pink walls. There are drawings of flowers, kittens and other disgustingly cute things all over. There is a portrait hanging on the west wall, a door in the north wall, and a large open window.
Ophelia is here.
I can also see a pair of nailscissors, and a postcard.
An exit leads north.

That'll keep ya busy for a few hours...

Well, this is it. The big fight scene.
Laertes and I face each other, draw our daggers, pad nervously around each other... and we're off!
After three bouts of exhilarating combat, I succesfully kill him! Hurrah! And all I got was a scratch!
This scratch really stings though. Wait a minute! The cheating sod's been using a poisoned blade!
So I die too. But to be honest, it comes as a bit of a relief. Maybe death will be a nice change. The undiscovered bourne and all that. Anyway, the rest is silence.

Congratulations! You completed the game!

Well who didn't see that one coming!!!??? [Wink]

I resent the implication that those of us who get colds more often are not "taking care of ourselves." [Razz]

Oh, wait. I don't . . . yeah, nevermindthen.
