Not to make a major deal over it, or forget the many, many other great people here that I love talking and arguing with, but I just read a buncha threads in a row and had to comment on Jenny's sensible, heart-filled posts. In a midst of a quick-moving evolution argument she stepped in and provided just the right middle-ground position I would want a teacher to provide, she gave comfort to CM that makes me wish she had her own advice column, and she likes Keds.
OK, maybe I am making a big deal out of it. It just struck me that a smiling, calming presence descended on the forum this morning and I appreciated it.

Ditto.
There is no one on Earth that can even begin to hope to fill those wenchy boots of hers.
She is a one and only.

Jenny is one of those rare people who are thoroughly beautiful both inside and out.

No matter how hard it may be.

I am gonna jump into the love fest and say, "Ditto". I think Jenny Gardener is pretty great, as well.

I don't like Jenny Gardener at all.
(I was very tempted to post this message without hinting that I'm being sarcastic, because I think it would be funny to be reading along in this thread and have this come out of nowhere, but then again nobody could really be sure that I was joking (although they might suspect it) and then it would cause trouble. So I added this parenthetical aside to clear up any confusion that might arise.)

I really like Jenny Gardener, and always have. Never could stand that Beaver Dick Leigh, though -- wanna fight, indeed.

Quit it, you guys! You're inflating my ego!

Jenny rocks. She was a good Frodo, even though she persisted in hitting on me.

I haven't read the thread that Chris is referring to, but I can easily say that Jenny is among my favorite Hatrackers, and has been for ages (even before I knew that she was friends with George R. R. Martin).

I felt that this is worthy of being bumped. I remember reading those threads and thinking what a great person she is. After reading that, as well as her landmark post, I must say that Jenny truly is a wonderful person.
