Awhile ago, someone posted a recipe for homemade icecream that was actually Atkins friendly if you just substituted Splenda for sugar. It used heavy cream.

Anyone remember that or know it???

Atkin's impaired Bob dying for dessert!

Here's one for Low Carb Ice Cream made Atkins-style. It uses ziploc baggies instead of an ice cream machine. Maybe close?

I believe I was the one who originally gave you the icecream recipe, I'll dig it up when I have time.

Until then, however: atkins products- icecream [Smile]

Comment: by no means did they mean "whipped cream" when they write "whipping cream." Just attempting to avert any crises.

Bless you all!!!

I'm trying two of these recipes tomorrow.

And I'm definitely going to use the bag-in-a-bag trick.

GREAT!!!

A note for if you get lazy -- Ben & Jerry's now makes a low-carb chocolate ice cream.

NO! Really???!!!

I'm going to the store. See you later.

By the way, how does one purchase Xanthan gum? And is it low carb too?
