In the course and analysis of human events, one thing has become clear. Any person of adequate capability who is prevented from having a say in their own governence is being ruled unjustly. Thus, from this day forth, we, the citizens of The Republic of Snowball's Chance decree that any leader of a country who gained or maintains power by any other form than consent of his country's people will no longer be recognized as having any legitimate authority over these people. Any attempts of said leader to use authority will be regarded as a crime of the highest magnitude.

Well, for starters, the U.S. would be attacked under such a policy - as many, if not most, Americans never consented to our leaders being who they are.

In fact, I'm not sure there's any country where people are offered the choice to consent to their government or be free from it's rule.
