The oddest thing keeps happening.

I enter Hatrack, go to the 2nd or 3rd page and then when I refresh and go back to one, all the folders come up as white with odd post counts (like 0) -

anyone else noticed this?

I ran a complete system virus scan with McAfee (whom I subscribe to) and there was nothing found both times -

I have defragged and cleaned out history, temp, etc. (which I do on a regular basis.)

[Confused]

It's you.

Well, there's your problem. You forgot to spin 3 times (clockwise works best), say a 'Hail Mary' and spit over your left shoulder first.

Better start over.

You just ain't holdin' yer mouth right.

*Sighs deeply*

That sucks - any ideas on what the problem is? What I need to do to fix it?

[Frown]

that number shouldn't be affected by anything on your computer; its some bug in the forum software.

Posted by Annie (Member # 295) on :

Yes, a bug.

This bug, no doubt.

Should I notify someone?

Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :

NO!!! Don't do that!!!! [Eek!]

Well, yeah, you probably should mention it to someone.

Posted by fugu13 (Member # 2859) on :

Well, its not something the Cards or their webhosts have anything to do with. You might send in a description of what you do (exactly) that causes the problem, details of your operating system and browser, and a screenshot of the problem to Infopop Corporation (look down at the very bottom of the page) (make sure to mention that its happening on hatrack, and give the URL, plus the version number of the board, also at the bottom of the page), but its probably been fixed in a later version of UBB or they just don't care.

It didn't start happening until after the site closed for that little piece of time a few days ago.

Does that make a difference?

Posted by Beren One Hand (Member # 3403) on :

It does make a difference. This is conclusive evidence that you crashed Hatrack. [Razz]

And where have YOU been, hmmm?

Abandonment!

(Sniffs)

[Big Grin]

Posted by Beren One Hand (Member # 3403) on :

Sure, stop posting for a few weeks and she calls it "abandonment." Camp out in front of Shan's porch and sniff her mail, she calls it "stalking." What's a guy to do? [Confused]

Posted by Shan (Member # 4550) on :

Just no winning, is there, big guy? [Razz]

Posted by Beren One Hand (Member # 3403) on :

*sniffs mail*

mmmmmmm...... Shan goodness. [Smile]

"Is it me?
Is it you?
Who knows?
Guess Who?!"

Posted by Shan (Member # 4550) on :

You have a truly amazing nose, Beren.

*Hands Beren a fresh homemade chocolate chip cookie*

Posted by Beren One Hand (Member # 3403) on :

Aw shucks, you spoil me Shan. [Blushing]

Posted by Shan (Member # 4550) on :

*Hands Beren another cookie*

[Kiss]

Got that lawn mowed yet, bud?

[Razz]

I knew this was too good to be true! [Wink]

Posted by Shan (Member # 4550) on :

Be at peace, m'dear - we seem to agree on fundamental issues . . .

*Hands Beren the rake and another chocolate chip cookie*

PSI, that was a work of literature. I think I must analyze it in my AP literature class. [Razz]

Posted by Beren One Hand (Member # 3403) on :

As long as the fundamental issue involves an inexhaustible supply of cookies and asparagus, we will get along just fine. [Smile]

Swoons at Beren's feet.

I never knew men were so easy to please!

[Big Grin]
