Nathiesm - believing in Nathan.

Just to save some time and clever posts:

Bobtist- Belief in Bob; very strong in the south.
Danned- sent directly to Belle
Kama- explains why Hatrack goes in cycles
ReinCardation- going away and coming back as a higher level poster
Myrddin Fyre and Brinestone- uh... someone else can do that one

So, who here is a Nathiest?

Posted by Taalcon (Member # 839) on :

I'm an Anathaniest. There is no Nathan.

Posted by Anti-Chris (Member # 4452) on :

Uh, you can leave out the 'an' in Anathanist. Its better as anathiest.

There was some talk in the chatroom a while back of possibly starting a Monty-Pythonanism sect. I don't know if anything ever came of it.

I'm Nathagnostic. I used to believe in Nathan, but I haven't seen a sign of him in so long that I can't be sure anymore...

Taalcon,

If you were trying to do the Baptist/Anabaptist parody, wouldn't it have worked better to spell it

Ananathiest?
(whew! That's hard to say!)

Who here would like to become a student of Zan Buddhism?

Actually, I think all these religions share a few Cor beliefs.

Friends of OSC adhere to the Scott-ish rite.

I must be a Bobtist! (although that sounds more like a dance than a religion...)

I hear pooka's just part of celiatic folklore.

I was raised an anniebaptist, but I'm afraid my wild college years have turned me into a bit of an anniechist.

I'm wondering which of the religions listed really teaches the Ruth . . .

I knew I picked this screen name for a reason.

Anybody here a jehovoid's witness (besides Ralphie (where the heck has she been?))?

Posted by jehovoid (Member # 2014) on :

Then there's the Dan_Ravengelical sect of the Friscan monks.

Posted by Anti-Chris (Member # 4452) on :

Well, we all know that Jon Boy is a Bobtist. Jon the Bobtist.

Of course, our new holiday KWSNI just HAPPENS to come around December 25th every year.

Posted by Da_Goat (Member # 5529) on :

::sigh:: Goatism just doesn't have the ring of all of these other religions. I think we'll call it "ultra goatism". Or, even, Ultrag Oatism.

Mooslims.

Why can't the Bobtists and Episcopatzians get along?

Of course, there's the now 5 decades old Bokononist religion.

We have our own scripture and everything!

I thought that was the Tao of pooka?

Posted by Anthro (Member # 6087) on :

Are you all Anthreists?

You can become Anthriests by worshipping Anthrocoatl, god of punctuation, venerating commas, and tearing out the living hearts of those who misuse commas.

Oh yeah. Lo and verily.

Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :

Bwahahaha! Bring, it, on Anthriests! You, can't, take, me!

Posted by Anthro (Member # 6087) on :

That actually physically hurts me.

Back on subject.

Although it would be very nice to believe in Nathan, you would have to live your life as if there was no Nathan anyway. Nathan doesn't help you in your day-to-day lives, he is merely an inspiration for you to greater things.

I choose not to believe in Nathan.
