I'm not the n00b you think I am. Really, I am someone you all know!

Any guesses?

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, gave it to Goodwill. [Roll Eyes]

You're right. I think you're actually more of a noob than I give you credit for.

Oh, wow. I KNEW Scott was going to start posting again. Hey, Uncle Orson, welcome back. [Wink]

Pat?

OSC-Fan!!!! YES!

You know, last time we had one of these, it turned out to be someone 90 percent of people didn't know of.

You are a stream of consciousness that recieves experiential inputs that may or may not come from some external world and which seem to be ordered, consistent, and to some extent influenced by your choices.

Threads like these tend to prove the person who started them is a n00b or similar, because most veterans know that this would immediately turn into a joke thread.

A lot of veterans like joke threads.

Posted by Da_Goat (Member # 5529) on :

What a giveaway.

It's Dobbie.

I always think about the lovely house-elf in Harry Potter.

T, do you mean Trisha/me? [Cry] [Wink]
Ummm, I'm going to guess... filleted.

That would not suprise me.

I don't think anybody ever thought Phanto was a new poster. I remember somebody commenting to that effect, in fact.

Posted by aka (Member # 139) on :

I did.

The <<<<<person addressed>>>>> thing he did was just weird. Nobody else did that. It seemed like a newbie mistake.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Except that he kept doing it even after it was repeatedly pointed out, and ignored questions about why he was doing it.

I still think he's Pat. Or Jon Boy -- how do we tell their MPD-induced SNs apart again?

Posted by imogen (Member # 5485) on :

C'mon Geoff, we all know it's you.

Posted by aka (Member # 139) on :

But any non-newbie would know that the "guess which non-newbie I am" game was sort of done to the hilt already by Morbo, right? I still think Phanto's probably a newbie.

My days of registering a new name every day are over.

At least until I find a good reason to register another name.

I think Trogdor suits me just fine for now.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Hmm. Still doesn't sound like an actual denial, Pat. [Big Grin]

Posted by imogen (Member # 5485) on :

A serious guess - I think it's someone like Rhaeger the Fool.

Been around for a while, but not for *ages* and, dare I say it, still in high school.

Posted by Snuffles (Member # 4332) on :

Who the FRELL cares?

honestly.

grrrrr!

Posted by Frisco (Member # 3765) on :

Didn't you post a "goodbye" thread, what, like a week ago?

You didn't even give us time to start an "I miss Phanto" thread where we'd all sigh and laugh about all the good times and talk about that one time you posted that funny thing to that one thread.

Newbie mistake.

I think it's Maeth with a spell-checker.

Posted by Sarcasm (Member # 4653) on :

It's definitely not me. I haven't registered a new name in quite a while, either. I really don't think it's Pat, either. It's just a little too weird and not funny enough.

And rivka, what's MPD mean?

Phanto is Pat?

Posted by Morbo (Member # 5309) on :

So, are you willing to come clean before showing up at people's doorsteps, Phanto? [Wave] [Monkeys]

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Just when you think people are perfectly honest... and WHAM!

Posted by Phanto (Member # 5897) on :

Um...yes, I created this post when I first joined, and was bored and posting from an expression of said emotion. At the same time, I was also chronically ((()))ing people. I got bored of that eventually, then starting posting seriously.

A lot of my posts are crap fluff, but I do hope that some of them have been useful, especially my analysis of music and personal advice that I have given.

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

Does the fact that I've met you negate your first post? [Razz]

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

I started reading the thread and thought I didn't catch the joke cause Phanto is obviously not a n00b. And then I saw myself posting. O_o
