Anyone else notice that Bob Scopatz' post count per day has really dropped off since he started dating dkw? Hmmm....

Dating dkw?! O_O

How come I never know these things?

Anyway, that's awesome!

Posted by sndrake (Member # 4941) on :

Because we were keeping it a secret from you, AFR!

Nice going, Storm. [Grumble]

Yeah, just cause Bob and dkw have a life.... [Cry]

Oh, yeah, thanks guys.

Anything else you're not going to tell me?

[Smile]

Not that we can tell you.

I've also noticed there hasn't been a Guess The Author game in about four weeks.

I thought Tom had him tied up somewhere because he was getting nervous. I guess it's Dana that's got him tied up.

I think dkw's posting has kind of dwindled off too..............

*snicker*

Bob’s mom’s been visiting, so he hasn’t been on Hatrack or talking to me. Well, not more than three hours a night anyway.

I’ve been doing work that requires me to be away from the computer. Look for Guess the Author to resume sometime next week.

SPOILERS

Cuz my submission still hasn't been done yet...

Wow, Dana, you must be twitterpated, or you'd have at least blushed when you said Bob hasn't been talking to you - more then 3 hours a night. [Smile]

Please tell Bob I have been doing my best to promote the inclusion of "OTB" in the Hatrack lexicon in his absence. [Smile]

I barely remember my submission.

I'll probably attribute it to Noemon or Celia.

*grin*

I am shamelessly greedy for more Bob-time. No blushes here.

I have to admit, I don't always read the words exactly as they're written.

Here is what I read:

DKW:
quote:

Bob’s mom’s been visiting, so he hasn’t been on Hatrack or, more importantly, even talking to me. [Frown]

Well, not more than a lousy three hours a night anyway. [Grumble]

OK, in fairness, that is not what you wrote. But I am a whiz at interpolation. [Smile]

You are indeed. And quite accurate, as well. [Big Grin]

*giggles*
I recognize that grumble! You do have free-minute cell plans, right? Tom and I racked up $2000 in phone bills one of the first months we "dated" [Eek!]

Edit: I'm trying to remember if it really was that high or if I'm exaggerating...it seems really excessive now, but I think it was.

Oh my stars!! That's awesome, but holy cow!

Posted by Christy (Member # 4397) on :

Yeah, Kat, we quickly moved to internet phone even though it wasn't quite the same. We felt like we were talking over walkie talkies, but we sure couldn't afford that kind of bill!!

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Yeah, that's crazy. I mean, Michael ended up with a $200 cel phone bill from the first month we dated, changed his plan, and then never used the minutes because we saw each other in person every day.

[Razz] That's a great story, though.

*muses* I ended up dropping organic chemistry two quarters in a row because it was scheduled for an hour after Latin class, and I didn't want to leave the lunch I had with this adorable boy from Latin class everyday.

My cell plan has unlimited minutes after 9pm.
