Wait a sec: the cat's name is Lily, and they're talking about neutering it? Seems like this cat's got more problems than just having too many ears.

My cat only has one and a half ears. (lol, you should see the other guy... [Wink] )

We want to find Lilly the loving home she deserves. She is very kind and not a monster.
Okay, I couldn't help but laugh at the "not a monster" bit.

Awwww, what a cute kitty. I hope he can go to a good home where people will love him. [Smile]

And I'm glad they answered my first question which was whether both sets of ears were functional or not.

[Confused] Is this a cat a female or male???

Posted by Brinestone (Member # 5755) on :

Ears apparently the only thing it has two of. . . .

How do you neuter a female cat? Or are ears not the only extra stuff she has?

Posted by BannaOj (Member # 3206) on :

Neuter can be used generically to refer to the sterilization of either gender.

Remember this is coming from orignally a German source and something could be lost in translation.

For all we know "Lilly" in German is an acceptable pet name for either gender.

*giggle* I look at that kitten and I think of Yoda for some reason.

Maybe this girl would be interested in adopting Lily.

Posted by MEC (Member # 2968) on :

*wonders why Ayelar posted a picture of some futurama guy banner and labeled it "this girl"*

*wonders why the link doesn't seem to be working for MEC*

Doesn't work for me, either. [Frown]

Copy and paste people, copy and paste.

Posted by MEC (Member # 2968) on :

Oh, ok. Although I don't understand why I had to do that.

Posted by Ayelar (Member # 183) on :

Neither do I.... clicking on it works for me.

Maybe it's because i'm on a retarded computer at my retarded school, with retarded people all around me, who won't shut up even though this is a retarded library.

MEC, maybe you should stop blaming others and ask yourself what you're doing at a school for the mentally handicapped.

For whatever reason, if you haven't already visited that specific page, you get redirected to the little box. But, once you have, it will come up when you click the link. [Dont Know]

they're not really retarded, just REALLY ANNOYING.

I'm sure in America this cat would have a non ambiguous name like Surround Sound, Dolby, or even THX. Then it would get sued by George Lucas.

Shouldn't it be fairly easy to surgically remove the extra, vestigal ears?

Posted by Ayelar (Member # 183) on :

Geez, why would you want to?

I'd love to adopt it and rename it Dolby. [Big Grin]

Even copying and pasting the url doesn't work for me. [Mad]

Posted by Storm Saxon (Member # 3101) on :

Ayelar, I think vestigal crap is more prone to infection and the like. So, it might be a good idea.

Curiously, The link works just fine in explorer, but won't work for me at all in any other browser. I can't even get to the msnbc.msn home page with any other browser. Looks like Mr. Gates is at it again.
