New HBO original series. On after the Sopranos. Anybody?
I really like it so far. Definitely some cool characters. First episode was kinda hard to follow, but now things have settled a bit and I have a clearer idea of what's going on.

You know, I was really excited for this show. I love HBO originals. SOPRANOS and SIX FEET UNDER are two of my favorite shows ever aired. I loved CARNIVALE.
But Deadwood?
I turned it off after the first 5 minutes or so of the pilot episode. Now, I'm not a prude by far when it comes to excessive language in film. But my God, man. At least in THE SOPRANOS and SIX FEET UNDER I believe the characters when they use it. The beginning of Deadwood was so horribly written I couldn't keep myself interested.
It didn't offend me as a Christian, it offended me as a writer. Bleh.
