We have come here to Praise D & D not to bury it.

There is nothing in the Multiverse we couldn't handle with a vorpal blade and a wand of blunder-er wonder.

In the 1980s millions of teenagers world-wide would battle dragons armed with just dice, paper and pens. D&D became part of youth sub-culture but as the game celebrates its 30th birthday, is anyone still playing?
Not only are people still playing it, but I'm convinced that a large part of the popularity of sakeriver is because of the Overlook and Segreda campaign archives. Convinced enough that I'm working on a suite of online gaming tools based on the WoC open source (about which the sakeriver regulars already know). There, have I plugged my site enough? [Smile]
