I saw it last night.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good movie. It was a pretty good storyline, and the acting and action were both good.

I didn't like the editing though. There were too many choppy shots in the middle of a scene, and they had these annoying subtitles come up all the time. I'm not talking about the translation of spanish-to-english subtitles. They would have some where someone would give up another member of La Hermandad's name, and that person's name would flash on the screen. Or someone would mention a date or a time, and that would flash up on the screen. I would rather have just listened to it said than see it on the screen. It took me out of the movie slightly.

Another editing thing I didn't like was they used Denzel Washington's "bad boy" ethos too much. The kept having shot after shot of him walking slow-mo through fire or a night club or something trying really hard to have him look all bada**, and they would show him swiveling around with his shades on and stuff. What he did to the criminals in the movie, like cutting off their fingers and sticking bombs up their a**es was bada** enough. No need to have gratuitous shots.
