You mean you don't have access to that folder in Foobonic?

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

No, cause I have to get the money up front before I'll permit access.

Posted by Farmgirl (Member # 5567) on :

I'm old. Explain to me, please, the exact definition of "skank" or "skankiness".

It's like skunk but you get an A for effort?

Derogatory term for a (usually younger) female, implying trashiness or tackiness, lower-class status, poor hygiene, flakiness, and a scrawny, pockmarked sort of ugliness. May also imply promiscuity, but not necessarily. Can apply to any race, but most commonly used to describe white trash.

You know that girl Crystal that lives in the trailer park? She's a total skank.

Third definition.

Thanks folks! This will really help with an article I'm writing for the local college newspaper.

I always think of that one black guy's skit on SNL whenever I hear skank.

Oh, yeah. This is so me.

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

I just use it to imply promiscuity.

I don't imagine Kama being flaky or pock-marked. How would she get all those guys, then?! Answer me that!!1

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

That's how

Posted by skillery (Member # 6209) on :

Kama's link: "Request blocked by WebBlocker"

Tell me more.

Kama - You're such a CamWhore.

[Razz]

Posted by Frisco (Member # 3765) on :

Apparently she gets guys by never wearing pants. But the picture cuts out her lower half, so it's pretty clean.

Posted by Zalmoxis (Member # 2327) on :

No comment. I'm already in enough trouble.

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

<-- has pants

Posted by Da_Goat (Member # 5529) on :

I bet they were photoshopped on.

On an overwhelmingly Mormon/Christian conservative board, one on which even the liberated Wiccan women are in long-term committed relationships, I'm not sure we HAVE any actual "skanks," unless by "skank" you mean "willing to hold hands with two different people in the same year."

Posted by Alexa (Member # 6285) on :

why do you want to know skillery? looking for one for any particular reason? [Evil Laugh]

Posted by Frisco (Member # 3765) on :

Yeah, I think CT has an entire thread devoted to matchmaking if you're looking for someone your type.

Posted by Suneun (Member # 3247) on :

I dunno, I see that Kama has even saucier photos in that directory.

I'm tempted to link it, but who knows what kind of trouble I'd get into! Suffice to say, it's called "lukeija."

Yeowsers! [Big Grin]

Holy crap. You have no idea how many hands I shake on a weekly basis. Churchgoers, coworkers, friends, family, total strangers, even customers...the list just goes on and on.

I really should start a business. Maybe I'll try starting a multi-level market.

Alexa, Frisco: No, I'm married. Thank you.

Isn't this the way to go about gathering material for scholarly essays, newspaper articles, and for finding answers to college exam questions?

OHhhhhh, I get it. Sorry. When I first read the post it seemed to me you were looking for them personally. lol. My bad. [Blushing]

Posted by Jim-Me (Member # 6426) on :

Well, based on tom's description I've got to be one of the skankist on the board. Details will not be forthcoming, however.

Posted by pooka (Member # 5003) on :

I think asking a direct question is seldom a good way to get information on Hatrack. Can skank ever refer to a man?

Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :

The fact that no distinction is made here between shaking hands and holding hands is only further proof of my assertion. [Smile]

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

If you're going to hold hands with more than one person before marriage, I feel passionately that you should be wearing rubber gloves.

I think I should start a thread.

Men can be skanks.

Look at Lalo. [Razz]

No, that's just how the vast majority of guys are.

Note that I say guys. Not men.

Posted by pH (Member # 1350) on :

Being male doesn't excuse you. You're still subject to skankification. [Wink]

Posted by Telperion the Silver (Member # 6074) on :

Speaking of which... Kama, who is that CUTE guy sitting on the left?? [Wink]

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

Yeah, 4 serious. I was thinking, hot Polish guys! Rowr!

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

On which left?

Posted by Paul Goldner (Member # 1910) on :

Dude, its all about dating the foriegners...

well, ok, i haven't been SUCCESSFUL dating foreigners, but, of the 6 women I've dated,

1 from italy
1 from bulgaria
1 from Belarus (emigrated when it was the USSR)
1 from Ukraine
1 from Kentucky (and boy is that foreign around boston)
1 boring old american.

Posted by Telperion the Silver (Member # 6074) on :

Er... BOTH! They're both sexy little numbers. Grrrr.. [Wink]

But I was talking about grinning guy on my left.

Posted by Taalcon (Member # 839) on :

That first pic of Kama is one of the most adorable things I've seen in a while.

And this from someone who just took these pictures.

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

The one in glasses? He's Marcin. The other one is Tomek. They live together [Eek!]

(but I don't think they're gay. sorry)

[Wink]

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Oh cool. I'm sweeter than Ophelia [Big Grin]

Posted by Telperion the Silver (Member # 6074) on :

Ooo.... *squirm* *drool*

How I love the foreign boys. My first love was a guy from Sweden named Daniel. 6'4, skinny but built, sexy accent, nice as hell... DAMN! The prettiest thing I've ever seen.

Posted by Taalcon (Member # 839) on :

I didn't say that, Kama. I won't be able to make any kind of comment on your sweetness until Chicago. Lindsay's a tough one to beat when it comes to sweetness.

So as for what I can currently say for Kama:

Adorable? Very.
Sweet? Awaiting verdict.

Are you writing a scholarly essay, writing a newspaper article, or in college?

i don't have to prove your meanness to you. i know how you are. don't deny it.

Posted by Ophelia (Member # 653) on :

Okay. You're right. I'm very cruel.
Dave, while nice and well-meaning, must be wrong on this one.
