Wheeeeeeee!

Got the good news from work. Exwork friend Sarah called me, said she was getting out "early." I went to grab my stuff and LO AND BEHOLD!

I've left my camera on. Drained battery. Had to recharge. [Wall Bash]

Dammit, extra half hour. Charged, take off to Nashua. Meet up with Sarah at the YMCA, cancel my membership there (it's literally Right Next To ExWork [Frown]

). Head down to Lowell.

OH! Forgot to mention. Vicefreakingpresident was in Manchester today, completely effed up traffic and had swarms of state troopers on a highway where there's usually ONE. And I know where he hides (it's a good spot if you don't normally see him through daily travel).

Anyway. From Lowell, hop into jeep with Sarah and Chris (Sarah's fiance). Zip into Riverside, catch green line T. Figure out about halfway there we won't be able to do Bartleys for dinner. [Frown]

Sadness. Truck it (train it?) up to Fenway. Look/wait/look wait for Brendan after I pick up the tickets. Locate Brendan on cell. 'Splain where we are. He's in the same place. Where is he?

Chris, "Behind you?"

Me. Turn around. Brendan is THREE FEET AWAY. Eep.

Cut through Throngs of People, find our seats. Find people in our seats. Show people tickets, they show us theirs. Insist the seats are theirs. We point out our ticket numbers match the seat numbers and theirs say "NO SEAT. STANDING ROOM ONLY. $10.00). See, an extra ten bucks gets you an actual seat! (We paid $20 for those of you who suck at math as badly as I do).

I go with Chris to fetch food. ARE HUNGRY.

Watch game. Love sox. Love.

Get cold. O_o. Venture out with Sarah to get me a jacket or sweatshirt or something. Women's sizes are too small (well, just the sleeves. my broadfreakingshoulders means that the sleeves are all two inches too short. what gives?!) and mens sizes Don't Believe In Small. Find one small. Fits just right, but is 100%cotton. We ALL know better than that. Find another color, medium. Purchase. Try on. (I should know better). Depsite being same brand, this one is bigger. Attempt to find another. Another found. Boys, meanwhile, wonder if we've been accosted and/or killed (we were responsible for fetching beer since we were around concessions).

Finish watching game. People watching. Sox Lose. [Frown]

Didn't get to call Nathan till drive home. [Frown]

Long story with THAT.
