According to FindYourSpot.com I am supposed to be living in San Diego.

Isn't that interesting? Ironically the very place where Xavier lives....

Now go find yours.

Edit: The first link doesn't work anymore, sorry, use the second.

1. San Diego, CA
2. Orange County, CA
3. Honolulu, Hawaii

Seems awfully accurate. I am living in San Diego, and this city may as well have been designed for me.

Baltimore I also hear is a great place to live. Any Maryland hatrackers care to give an opinion?

Edit: Oh and I should point out that the VAST majority of cities listed were either in California or Maryland [Smile] .

Also I couldn't be happier with the city they gave Niki [Smile] .

Ventura, CA basically my hometown turns up on page four. I think it is that low because I did discriminate on housing prices.

Knoxville? Did they not pay attention to my statements about humidity? All in all, though, I'd have to agree. Thing is, Dallas has everything except countryside. It's not a bad town, but oh man, it is NOT pretty here.

I grew up in the Baltimore area. I highly recommend the suburbs surrounding Baltimore. The city itself not so much for living, as it is the 4th deadliest in the country(an improvement), but the city-towns of Canton and Dundalk are quite nice and they're renovating run-down areas(West side especially). So I think moving into one of those two towns would be acceptable, especially if you sent your kids to a private Catholic school or something, which are highly touted(the city public schools suck). Montgomery County(2nd richest in the nation), Howard County(where I grew up, also one of the wealthiest), and Baltimore County(not the city, good Jewish community) are the best counties in the state and have very good public schools in general.

Baltimore is great for visiting and spending time in. The Inner Harbor is fantastic as well as Fell's Point and Little Italy. My friends and I walk around those three areas frequently. Got some good cultural stuff(Hippodrome just reopened) although DC(also very close) is far superior in that regard. Baltimore has superior medical centers(Johns Hopkins, UMD Shock Trauma).

*edit* In case you haven't noticed, MD is my favorite state. The climate is humid and hot in the summer, cold and dry in the winter. MD is known for crabs & seafood with the Chesapeake Bay right there. It's also I think the most diverse state in terms of population ethnicity and ecology and geography, and is sometimes called "America In Miniature"*edit*

Hope this helps!

3. Clarksdale, Mississippi
4. Hancock-Houghton, Michigan (what kind of town has two names?)
5. Columbus, Indiana.

Too bad it doesn't give you an option of NON-metropolitan areas at all. It is either Big city, medium city, or small city. I don't want ANY city.

Temposs, where'd you grow up in Howard County? I went to high school there (Centennial).

I actually love Baltimore. I love how quirky it is, how different all the neighborhoods are, and how very unpretentious it is compared to DC. Yeah, it's got a high crime rate, but if you stay out of the bad areas like west Baltimore, you should be safe.

1. Little Rock
2. Baltimore
3. Baton Rouge
4. New Orleans
5. Washington, DC
6. Portland, OR

Apparently I should move to Louisiana since it shows up a couple more times on my complete list.

I think it has to do with prisons. M.L.K wrote the letter from the Jail in Birmingham. A Huntsville penetentiary exists (but it might be in TX.) And I think Fayetteville has a famous prison too, though maybe I'm overlapping it with Huntsville.

Sorry my mind makes weird abstract links sometime.
