I would like to attribute this to skill but I have to say I got pretty lucky. I got pocket rockets twice during the tournament (field of 700 players) and flopped a four of a kind sevens while holding pocket sevens.
Thanks Richard, Storm, Bok, et al for all the advice so far. I forgot who suggested reading Skalansky's Hold'em book, but it was a golden piece of advice.
edited to add: Ack, you have to cut'n'paste the darn URL.

I just get this stupid pictures that says "image hosted by tripod"

Yeah, that's why you have to copy-paste the link.

Ah. You should probably edit it again so that it's not a link, so that you *have* to cut-n-paste.

I can't. It linkifies itself!

Copying and pasting fails for me.
But congratulations - I'm assuming you won or placed very high in a tournament of 700?
Awesome!

Is that real money?
If so, how much was they buy in?
I love no limit texas hold 'em, maybe I should start playing for real money...

Hmphh.
Copy-n-paste does not work, it just gives me an error message.

Fixed, I think. *sigh* One time I win something and I can't even brag about it properly.
