I am strongly reminded of when I saw a high school perform Pippin, and there was a guest star little boy, who had a pet duck... and he sat at the front of the stage one day, when the duck was sick, and sang "Prayer for the Duck," to try and plead for the duck's life. He was maybe six years old... it was so beautiful, I started crying.
