When I get grandchildren and retire, I want to sit around and do projects like THIS with them...

They have some really cool examples of other building sets if you go back to their home page and see their gallery....

Or you could get together and do this with them too...

You could...

But they may resent you for the rest of your life.

I actually know how to Polka, Hobbes -- once dated a guy in a polka band, and we would dance our weekends away........ <sigh>

Really? Could you teach me? Because that was the best sight I could find and it didn't really help.

*idly wonders if one redhead teaching another polka is a good idea*

What's red hair got to do with it? [Confused]

I wish I had at least one minature cathedral or something with actually rose windows...

redheads tend to "lead" -- and there can't be two leaders...
<grin>

Think of it like a "skip" step (remember skipping in kindgarten?) Except it is together, and more to the side instead of skipping forward....

yeah -- I'd really have to show you -- too hard to explain...

Oh, wow! I've got several Hirst Arts molds, Farmgirl, if you want to borrow some, and have built two castles from them so far. They're of excellent quality, and I don't regret the purchases at all.

Wow. Building a miniature castle would be a great project for the nimble hands of a small child. All my grandma did was play Scrabble with me.

*"Penny Lane" begins to play in background*

What is it with you and "Penny Lane," anyway?

Redheads and polka? I love it!

Haven't you seen The King and I?

"Haven't you seen The King and I?"

That's "Have you seen the king and me."

(joke, cuz JonBoy is on this thread)

I'm totally gonna buy some of these when DH gets paid. I'll call it a late birthday present. Good idea, no? [Big Grin]
