If you are wallpapering and therefore have hands covered with wall glue, do not push your hair out of your face with your hands. Yes, it works. No, you will not be happy about it.

Oh, that's awful!

Can you let us know when the glue is out of your hair and the damage is repaired so we can all have a good laugh?

Oh Dear!!

(been there, done that, got the t-shirt, though in my case it was PVC cement)

See, I've only ever done this with human blood. Which, while less of a pain to get out, is much more squicky.

Mental note #454: Do not, under any circumstances, try to wallpaper or border by yourself! I tried this while Tom was away and had to run chairs and furniture across the room while I pressed the border to the wall and then moved on. If I got down off of my perch to move to the next, the whole project would peel off and I'd have to start again!

Does shampoo get out the glue? Poor Kat!

The room is almost done, and I already have decorator's remorse. Hopefully that will go away - it is cute wallpaper. A little more Victorian than I'd planned on.

I think I got most of the glue out, although my hair felt really weird and not quite completely clean this morning. It's twisted around right now and I'm trying not to think about it. Tonight is my birthday party - which explains the wallpapering yesterday. Maybe I can get it washed and cut during lunch. [Smile]

But I still feel like an idiot. [Razz] I can't tell you how much I love that I'm not the only one who has done that. PVC cement! Holy crap! The blood makes me nervous - exactly whose blood did you have all over your hands, Bobble? Is there something we need to know? Where's twinky?!?

you might try vinegar to get your hair cleaner. I used to use it occasionally to make sure I got the shampoo rinsed out. (Hard water)
