That is right! According to an "8 month" investigation done by none other than GQ magazine, not only was Bush in Vietnam during the year of 1972-1973, he was a covert spy with a top secret Air Force Outfit. [Roll Eyes]

Ya know this occured to me as a possible explanation (His father WAS head of the CIA) but I figured it would be laughed at becuase, obviously, as a spy, there would be no documentation to release.

I suppose if one were to desperately grasp at straws, choosing a glamorous option like "spy" or "interplanetary superhero" is better than "drunk in Bangkok."

Also, as a man who is clearly unable to think quickly on his feat without stumbling over his words and saying something stupid (as countless TV appearances have documented for us) he would probably have been one of the last choices for the CIA.

Unless he was fetching the other spies their coffee.

I understand that in reality spys are completely unremarkable looking and acting. James Bond types would draw way too much attention.

How much attention does a word stumbling texan draw? None.

But the whole AWOL Bush argument is big time conspiracy talk. I can hear the black helicopters coming now....

No. Accusing Bush of killing Vince Foster would be big-time conspiracy talk. Accusing him of knowing about 9/11 in advance -- or planning the whole thing -- is big-time conspiracy talk. Accusing him of skipping out on military service is penny-ante conspiracy talk.
