Did the storms that caused so much flooding in Lawrence cause you any trouble*? Kayla, on the off chance that you're reading this, how about you?
If I'm misremembering, Punwit, and you're not located in one of the towns near Lawrence (I'm thinking Ottawa, but I'm not positive), then who is it that's located there?

You're right that punwit is in Ottawa. I'll let him answer when he gets on.
However, I will add that our branches (I work for a bank, remember); our branches in Topeka, Lawrence and Manhattan all went down yesterday due to storms/power outages, lightning strikes. Made for a busy day...

Interesting FarmGirl. I can't believe what a beating the area took. My parents place is pretty much flood proof, luckily, so at least they and the dogs and cats were able to spend the evening hiding in a *dry* basement.

I just got a phone call from punwit,. He wants you and the rest of Hatrack to know that unfortunately that "little" storm yesterday fried his DSL modem, so he has no internet at all.
So he can't contribute to Hatrack at all at the moment. He did check his e-mail from a neighbors computer, but didn't feel like he should spend hours on Hatrack over there...
(also said something about not fully understanding everyone's talk about 'Hatrack Addiction' until now!)
His town is not big enough to have a replacement modem, and he doesn't have the time, with work right now, to run to K.C. for a new one just yet.
Plus he leaves in a few days for a fishing trip in Canada. So he might not be able to get back on here and post until he gets back....
