I don't mean to nit-pick, but I just don't see what all the egg-citement is for.

He doesn't even have a lice-ense from the FDA yet. I've got an itchy feeling about all of this.

Don't be such a pest, I cide to the critter. That's gnat what it's all about.

Buzz, buzz. You and your biting wit.

You've only just scratched the surface, Sara. You want to get to the root of this hairy problem? Maybe instead of taking pot shots, you should have invested in cootie-inoculation. . .

I'm swelling with indignation, Scott. It pains me to say it, but ... don't be so pus-sy.

Don't be a sore louser, Sara.

Agreed, Noemon. I can't seem to get these silly punsters out of my hair!

Seriously though, mayo and a plastic shower cap does the same thing.

Are we buggin' you?

We don't mean to bug you.

but does it kill the nits?

Posted by PSI Teleport (Member # 5545) on :

It does. I think. At least judging by the fact that it says you don't have to comb the nits out.

Interestingly enough, the title wasn't even a pun. The original and primary definition of "lousy" was, and is, "infested with lice".

My mom discovered an infestation on Christmas eve. I think it was 1985. Our family had 5 girls living at home.

What I like here is that it said it is invisible when dry and the hair can be styled as usual. You can't go to school with mayonnaise and a shower cap on. Well you could, but people would make fun of you.

Mayo and a shower cap made my older daughter nauseous from the smell of the mayo. Olive oil did nothing but make both heads slimy and difficult to comb. And because their idiot father refused to deal with his house and his family, my children were reinfested throughout most of a school year... we spent a lot of time and money on those nasty chemicals. With any luck I'll never ever ever have to deal with that again, but I really hope that this shrink wrap idea comes out before we are revisited. <shudder>
