Where the heck can I find DIVX?

About a year ago I tried to download a version of it, but it wouldn't work after I installed. I haven't found a good one since.

Am I right in thinking that the shot of the storm trooper firing the walkie talkie is an allusion to the South Park episode with Spielberg and Lucas?

Posted by Taalcon (Member # 839) on :

*sighs* No. It's an allusion to the new cut of E.T. which is what the South Park episode was 'inspired' by.

Spielberg didn't like the fact that the "Agent" , in the scene where the bike flys over the car and away from the "Agents", was holding a gun. He felt it was too threatening...

So in the remastered edition, he edited the film so that the "Agent" was holding a walkie-talkie instead.
