Today I received Robin Hobb’s Farseer Trilogy in the mail. I have read 250 pages and know that I still have about 1800 to go. I love that feeling! Too bad it doesn’t happen more often.

And I think amazon.co.uk must have set a new world record. I ordered the books on Wednesday morning, received notification of shipping on Wednesday evening and held them in my hands at 10 am today. We’re speaking of two different countries an (albeit small) ocean apart!

My next project is reading Dorothy Sayers. Like Robin Hobb, she’s part of what I think of as “Catching up on all the books repeatedly recommended by people who like the books I like”. But I need to plan.

So the real purpose here is to see if anyone can give me a chronology of the Wimsey mysteries. I know there is a love story there, and I’d like to read in the right order. And I really can’t order all the books at once. But I’m looking forward to that feeling again
