I'm so glad he started drawing cartoons again.

The last comic strip of "Bloom County" was one of the most depressing things I've ever read.

Actually, that's Mr. Head, but I suppose it's an easy mistake to make. [Big Grin]

Edit: Just for the record, one comic was deleted - otherwise my post would make more sense. [Big Grin]

Edit 2: That one, down there. [Big Grin]

Don't forget to include ancient posters that modern jatraqueros have never heard of, such as those who registered "a long time ago."

Yes, but I don't remember their names. I loved that comic...the penguin is Otis, right?

Dag, I can give you the rundown, by e-mail though...I don't want to start it all over again, not here.

I don't think so...these are parodies of hatrack, so unless he is among us right now....

You know, this is the most brilliant . . . thing . . . to ever appear on Hatrack. Leto's Hatrack Wars have been dethroned. (If you're still lurking here . . . sorry . . . but it's true!)

By the by, there are some things in which n00bs* have the advantage.

*and by "n00b" I mean it in the most respectful, pre-Cedrios way possible, of course.

Berke is not doing "Bloom County" again, but he is drawing a cartoon strip - it appears every Sunday in the AJC.

One of the few reasons I'd ever consider reading the paper.

-Trevor

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

The new strip is called Opus. It is not as funny, although it's better than nothing.

Hatrack County, on the other hand, is hilarious.

Posted by TMedina (Member # 6649) on :

I dunno - he did one strip about the "Princess Support Group" that had me in stitches.

That last one was hi-friggin-larious. 'Specially the last frame with the dog.

Posted by Da_Goat (Member # 5529) on :

Oh man, I totally dug that last one, especially the hug thread frame.

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

Yeah, I'm completely blown away by this. Definitely the best Hatrack themed...thing ever. Like Icarus said, it eclipses John's Hatrack Wars, or the collective "Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road" thread, or even Porter's brilliant faux front page.

I must have missed this.

It's in Annie's Photoshop Phriday thread - his entry is a BRILLIANT Hatrack parody.
