I just have to strike out against the total subversion we've seen so far of this thread's very raison d'etre! Why on earth, when someone starts a thread explicitly requesting it to be punless, would people home right in and touch base on the exact sore spot they were asked to avoid? It flies in the face of all standards of civility!
Obviously kaioshin00 has been fouled by the profligate and unwarranted excess of puns on hatrack lately. He begs us to leave him just one thread, one field clear of these atrocities of word play, and so what do people do? Line up and hit pun after pun straight out of the ballpark! I'm thorougly appalled! I felt I simply had to step up to the plate and go to bat for kaioshin00 over this one. You people are sick!
