Today, September 22nd, is national Hobbit Day in the US.

How should we celebrate?

The Hobbit Day and Bob's birthday on the same day......

...hmmmmmm....

I'm sure there is a pun in there somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it...

Just don't make a hobbit of looking for puns, Farm.

How come there's no Sauron day, nor Nazgul day? I call PREJUDICE! [Mad]

There's no elf day either, so quit yapping.

I think it has something to do with that whole ring business - yeah, like the hobbits are so special because one of them managed to get his finger bitten off and drop a ring.

Gee, that took courage. [Roll Eyes]

There's no elf day, but I think the peroxide industry is making a push for something similar.

Although I have to second the "Appreciate your Villain" day - without villains, we'd never really understand the heights of goodness to which the hero(es) may aspire.

Seedcakes.

[Big Grin]

(I had a lemon-poppyseed cookie this morning, and I'm thinkin' that just might count.)

We should raise out voices in praise, of course!

"In the middle of the earth
in the land of the the shire,
lived a brave little hobbit
whom we all admire..."

Yes, but Belle - what goes best with hobbit, ketchup or tobasco?

I was thinking maybe hobbit toes with honey mustard...

hey! It's my birthday, too!

Ain't I special. [Big Grin]

It's also the pagan harvest festival, Mabon.

Ain't I real special...and Bob, too.

Which Bob? Scopatz?

Yay for the hobbits! I'll celebrate by embracing my short, fat self...if I can get my arms around my stomach, that is.

Funny, I thought that was another thread topic, Took.

Hobbits is good eaten.

And lets cut off the Bobbit jokes at the source, shall we.

Wow, I'd say someone's stumped for good puns.

Not to belittle any implied humor, mind you - but we will be cutting it short.
