I suppose a story like this will either fall on deaf ears or be preaching to the choir about tolerating differences, but I felt it would make for an interesting read.

This article actually made me tear up a little. I live in the same type of environment as this boy, and I wonder how many untold stories like this lurk in the towns I have lived in.
