So another HOT WATER MUSIC album is upon us. I was curious if anybody else who enjoys their music has been less and less pleased with each new album? I am curious as to whether it is Hot Water's leaning more and more toward melodic rock, and kinda abandoning their hardcore elements found in previous efforts OR is it that we are growing up and our musical taste is maturing. i kind of have a hard time with that latter reason because FUEL FOR THE HATE GAME is still one of my top 10 albums of all time. and that album is as raw and unpolished and rather amatuer sounding as they come. but, nonetheless it was undeniably amazing.

so anybody else's input on HOT WATER MUSIC of today versus yesterday would be appreciated.

that is all.

Ben, I love the way you manage to make the word "melodic" sound like a bad thing. [Smile]

no no. it's not a bad thing, per se. i like alot of melodic music, hardcore, pop, what have you. but if my fandom of a certain band developed as a result of my liking their rough can't sing worth shit stylings, for them to then clear up their vocals and and clean up their crunching (but always a tad melodic) in this case seems to be a turn for the worse...

rereading this im not sure if it makes much sense, but it does to me, so pffft.
