The Blue Chamber

I haven't figured it out yet, but I have a feeling I'm not going to get much work done today now.

Posted by amira tharani (Member # 182) on :

Try www.stickcricket.com. Much fun... no work for me either lol.

Posted by xnera (Member # 187) on :

Oh frell, there's another one? I still haven't been able to get past the Viridian Room, because of technical difficulties. It would NOT let me pick up an item I knew I needed, no matter how much I clicked on it. [Mad]

Ohhh.. I like the cricket game. Man, there's no hope for my homework today!

SPOILERS

OK, I've sent out a message and gotten a cryptic response back. I don't know what to do with it.

I found the money.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

Money! Where? I couldn't find the money. I even tilted the picture to no avail.

Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :

The hardest part, for me, was figuring out the phone number. The message is an oblique but largely useless clue.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

I dialed 911 and "0" but....I'm Zork Impaired!

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Done it. Fifteen minutes. It was fun!

Posted by MrSquicky (Member # 1802) on :

If you're stuck on the phone number, you probably have everything you need to figure it out. Just think, how many digits are in a phone number? That's what did it for me.

Posted by T_Smith (Member # 3734) on :

Ooo, money!

Posted by Stray (Member # 4056) on :

Gaah, I feel so stupid...I got the reply message but haven't figured anything else out, and I can't find the stupid money. Or anything else [Frown]

Posted by Katarain (Member # 6659) on :

Anything special with the window shade?

I also can't figure out the number, but maybe I don't have everything. I figure it must be the window shade..

Yeah, I'm stuck on the phone #. [Frown]

Ha! Found the money, at least...still no clue what to do now...

Me too.

Posted by UofUlawguy (Member # 5492) on :

The window shade is a red herring.

For the phone number, you will need to look at a real telephone, and not just the one in the game.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

But a real phone number has 7 numbers, the letters only make 6. I drew a funny face on the money...I looked out the window for the Tel. #. and even zoomed in, no luck....

Posted by Stray (Member # 4056) on :

I assume it has something to do with the letters on the phone buttons, but I still don't get it. *sighs*

Posted by MrSquicky (Member # 1802) on :

Man, the Crimson room is kicking my butt. I need to find a battery, but I've been clicking all over the place and I got nothing.

Posted by UofUlawguy (Member # 5492) on :

The letters only make six, but your correspondent adds another figure.

Posted by T_Smith (Member # 3734) on :

I tried to call collect.

Posted by Stray (Member # 4056) on :

Yeah, I tried that. Or I think I did, anyway...maybe I got them out of order or something.

Posted by Katarain (Member # 6659) on :

I got the number. yay. [Smile]

but nothing's happening.

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

<-- great big cheater

Or you can google for the walkthrough

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Oh! There's another! Just when I was feeling smart.

Posted by Katarain (Member # 6659) on :

Yay! I got out! [Smile]

Geez U,
At least put a spoiler warning on or something.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

Ok Help Me with a crossbones. I'm not seeing the number....doh!

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

Wait...I think I just figured it out...

Posted by Stray (Member # 4056) on :

Doh! Just caved in and looked at the walkthrough, and I'm getting stuck cause I'm on my work computer and it has no speakers [Smile] So I had actually gotten the phone number right but didn't know it cause I couldn't hear the response.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

I guess it helps to have the sound on, which I didn't. So I dial this number and he says ok...but the door is still locked....Doh.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

Dang, yes I should have had the sound on. I had it figured out before, but had no idea because I didn't hear the answer back.

Posted by CaySedai (Member # 6459) on :

okay, I did the blue chamber but now I'm stuck on the crimson chamber ... and tried googling for a walkthrough with no luck. ;(

Posted by MrSquicky (Member # 1802) on :

Cay,
Where are you stuck? I can't get the friggin battery (at least I'm pretty sure I need a battery). I'm doing the Viridian room right now, and it's way spookier. I think I'm trapped in by a ghost of a guy who committed suicide and whose skeleton is right in the room with me. Freaky stuff.

Posted by CaySedai (Member # 6459) on :

MrSquicky - I found the battery but hesitate to tell in open forum. Can I email you?

I found a bunch of stuff in the viridian room but don't know what to do with it. (never got out of the crimson room and gave up on it)

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Mr. Squicky, I found a battery but I haven't a clue what to do with it.

Also; are you able to look under the bed.

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

Ok, I did everything you are supposed to but the Safe Code won't work.....Argggg.

Posted by CaySedai (Member # 6459) on :

I can't even get back to the foot of the bed again - I found out it does not save your settings, so if you leave it you start over. [Frown] [Grumble]

and I promised DH that he could have the computer back at 1 p.m. [Grumble] [Grumble] [Grumble] [Grumble] [Grumble]

Hmmm did the game a second time and the code worked this time....YAY!

Posted by CStroman (Member # 6872) on :

Battery is a pain in the @#$$ to find.

Posted by MrSquicky (Member # 1802) on :

Cay,
Nevermind, I beat the Viridian Room (that last character was a big pain in the butt to find) and I went back to the Crimson Room and found the battery by random clicking. I still don't know how you are supposed to think that clicking there will let you look in a new place. Now I can't seem to figure out the code. Oh well.

edit:
Teshi,
I haven't been able to look under the bed, but there is more to get on the bed than is first obvious. You should get two items from it when you're looking directly at it.

walkthrough for the Viridian Room

of course, I have to go now ...

Posted by MrSquicky (Member # 1802) on :

Son of a b...., if you're having trouble with the Crimson Room code, start the game over and do it. There's no trick to it. It just didn't go in the first time for me (or it looks like for Chad either). Man, I was thinking, the paper's upside down and backwards mostly, so I was reversing the letters and making 6 into 9 and 2 into 5. But no, it just needed a restart. Stupid windows type game.

My favorite by far is the Viridian room. Except for the 6th character, there weren't any really annoying problems and it was just way spooky.

Argh. Can't get the phone number, even with all the hints. [Mad]

I have a confession to make. I saw this game this morning, and I haven't had a chance to try since I posted this. I'm now planning to waste the next two hours [Smile]

OK, there it is.

*spoilers*

I've been shaking the painting for like 5 minutes and still no money. (I guess that answers one of your questions, Derrell, heh.) The walkthrough I looked at said to click the bottom right corner, but nothing happens when I do. Grr.

I am STUCK in the crimson room.

I got the code, and I think I got EVERY item in the dang room, but I can't figure out how to USE the code. Can someone give me a hint... without giving too much away??

:bump:

I came back to this because I was bored, and I find myself stuck at the safe in the crimson room. Why can't I get the code right?

Posted by Little_Doctor (Member # 6635) on :

Come On People...I'm goin nuts here!!!!

Posted by Katarain (Member # 6659) on :

Doesn't that one have to do with the website address on that paper?

Posted by advice for robots (Member # 2544) on :

If Little_Doctor goes nuts in the Crimson Room and nobody hears or sees it, did it really happen?

Posted by Little_Doctor (Member # 6635) on :

I got the code and all, but when I put it in the safe it says the numbers are wrong. I have the key so that isn't a problem.

Posted by Katarain (Member # 6659) on :

I dunno.. check the code again?

Posted by Katarain (Member # 6659) on :

I just played the game again...

Did you have the key?

Posted by Little_Doctor (Member # 6635) on :

Yeah, I had the key, and I checked the code multiple times. Yet, it still won't work. THe code it gave me was 2103.

Posted by Coccinelle (Member # 5832) on :

I found another code that didn't work either. But, my brother found one that worked. Let me see if I can get ahold of him and find out what it was.

Start over.

And maybe you didn't get everything you had to.

Posted by Coccinelle (Member # 5832) on :

Ok- go to the website on the paper. You will be in a room with a table. On the table are four cards. Turn the cards over. That will be the code for YOUR game. It changes every time. [Big Grin]

Code that just worked for me: 3032

one between headboard and matteres
