This morning I was actually thinking really hard about one of the early episodes of Voyager. You know the one where they go to the planet where the men all wear corsets and get trapped in a time warp? It just now occurs to me that that could be a Rocky Horror allusion.
Anyway, it seems like it should have ended either with the time hole closing, civilization restored, and Janeway and Paris standing there waiting to be taken home (they just hung out for the intervening day). Or people wake up on the ship, and the captain and Paris are gone and then they somehow signal the ship from the planets surface. But having the ship just go by in the night... I don't get it.

I think pooka was making a valiant effort to redeem a useless thread (which, I am proud to say, I started.)
It won't work, though.

But yes, I remember that episode. It was quite futile, because the way it ended, absolutely nothing happened anyway.
