The girl getting "made" is from my fencing club and my hometown of Manchester.
It's interesting. She's a nationally ranked fencer who wants to become a hip hop dancer.

Here's a hint--never break dance with a sharp tipped Epee.
Last time I tried making gang signs while carrying a foil I lost three fingers.
And two of them weren't mine.
Thank goodness for duct-tape.
Um, nevermind.

having MTV at the club was incredibly distracting. not like I need extra distractions. but I really wonder how it'll all look! they interviewed our head coach, some of the other fencers, filmed at the club...

Are you going to be on camera at all mack, say in the fencing club shots and stuff? If so, I'll be sure to watch. If not...well, I don't really know your friend, so if I fail to remember to watch I won't be heartbroken or anything, but I'll still try to tune in.

I dunno. I could be, but just background shots. I really don't WANT to be on camera, since I'm all fencing grossness at the club.

Well, I'll watch it so that I can shout "Hey! There's mack" to my cat, if you happen to be on camera.

I love Made! I started watching it last year because all the kids at the Y were watching it and I got addicted.
They had an aspiring hip-hop dancer last year, but she was a theater person. I think it will be easier for your friend, mac, because she's already an athlete.

Who, by the looks of things in the commercials, couldn't dance to save her life and appears to get worse further along in the process.
At least I think that's the same Made.
