lol

It was a great game though...plus it helped me to procrastinate on reading over a paper I have to send out tonight one last time. I hate that last proofread...I am always nervous that I will miss something (which I always do). Nothing like proofreading 27 pages of text.

Panic in pinstripes! Yanks can't close it out at home, either

Ela?

What, are you a Red Sux fan all of a sudden?

Well, forget YOU then! [Razz]

Posted by Ela (Member # 1365) on :

Not a Sox fan, just anti-Yankee. [Wink]
I'm tired of the Yanks winning all the time just cause they are the team with the most money in baseball.

But I thought you already knew that, Icky. [Razz]

Plus, I thought the headline was funny. [Big Grin]

Is that any way for someone living in NY to talk, adam? [Wink]

Due to lack of TV where I live, I'm now 2 and a half miles away on campus doing homework and watching pre-game. [Big Grin]

Baseball... talk about a sport that needs a good shakedown.

Lax enforcement of steroid rules.
No salary cap to encourage competitiveness between teams.
Looooong games that individually make little difference in the outcome of the season.

No wonder football has been whooping it in the fan numbers.

But hey, at least it isn't pro basketball.!

So, Adam....how about that sweep... [Evil]

Well, you all have a long time to rest up for next season now....lol....

The Curse must have lifted

For the Red Sox have defied history to defeat the Yankees. (I'm not a Sox fan, but I certainly don't care for the Yankees)

Or they can just lose in game 7 of the WS to the Cardinals.

Posted by Icarus (Member # 3162) on :

The Red Sox have certainly beaten the Yankees in the last 86 years. They have even been to the World Series in that time. You can say the curse is lifted all you want, but they haven't proven it yet.

We can't say the curse has lifted unless the Sox win the World Series.

And Kwea, what makes you think Adam is a Yankees fan?
