Someone also called up folks pretending to endorse Kerry saying, "You want to support gay marriage? Vote for Kerry." I am disillusioned with politics.

In the debates, Kerry said he was against Gay Marriage but for Civil Unions.
I think Civil Unions would be a nice first step, but it's still seperate but equal.
Really though, Dems talk a good game about gay rights, but when they get power all they do is Don't Ask Don't Tell and the Defense of Marriage Act.
