Mr. Opera and I just found out that we're expecting a baby in early July!

And I'm already too huge for my jeans. [Angst]

I had to go buy maternity ones today. Lest you think I'm kidding, I'm already big enough that someone in another store asked if I was expecting. It better not be twins!

I don't think she'll need them, rivka. If I remember right from KamaCon -- Space Opera is one of these tiny people who are "always cold" -- maybe this pregnancy will warm her up and balance everything out!

Not to scare you, but the fact that I needed maternity pants really, really fast was the first indication of my twins! I mean, I started showing immediately and was dragging my maternity stuff out of the closet before I was even 8 weeks along!!

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone! We told our kids last night. Our daughter is very excited and will not stop kissing my belly. Our son was less excited, but hey, he's a 9 y/o boy, so what can we expect? Right now I'm just focusing on trying to stay awake for more than 3 hours at a time. [Wink]
