I think this will fit the bill: puns about paper and paper products. Who will step up to the plate? I hope we all get plenty of amusement out of this before we finally call it a wrap.

I'm not sure I folio.

I was hoping you'd post one of these before Elizabeth reamed you out. I was going to take a nap - can you cover for me?
Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :
Wad are you talking about?

So Liz lobbies for this, and then doesn't even participate.
Let's just scrap it.

My roommate says you should all be taken out into the woods and shot.
I, however, refuse to turn over a new leaf.

pretty soon puns are going to take over and have a wide rule across the forum
Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :
Maybe Elizabeth is waiting for an engraved invitation.
Posted by kaioshin00 (Member # 3740) on :
Hey bob, if every time you made a pun I struck you with 1/100000000000th of a fist, I'd probably have a hole punch by now.
Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :
Well...I'm impressed. Whatever you do, don't let emboss you around!

What a banner idea! I'm glad this thread was started because this posters board with all the political frenzy.
Posted by punwit (Member # 6388) on :
I've been thirsting for a new pun thread and mentioned this fact to my daughter. She was not familiar with the term I used to describe my desire for a quenching thread. She wanted to know what parch meant.
Posted by punwit (Member # 6388) on :
Perhaps we could commingle this pun thread with one on being a father. We could call it Pappy r us.
Posted by Defenestraitor (Member # 6907) on :
punwit, tissue just post three times in a row?!
Posted by kaioshin00 (Member # 3740) on :
Look at him go! I would purchase punwit punning on pay-per view
Posted by punwit (Member # 6388) on :
kaioshinOO, That is high praise and I thank you! By the way, alliteration becomes you.

It's getting late. I fold.
Posted by Elizabeth (Member # 5218) on :
Man, you guys are really plying me to pun here! I was too tired last night, so I crawled under the sheets. I have been very sick, and the pencilin has not been working.
You know, I was wondering? Is there any Orson Scott card stock on the market yet?
Posted by solo (Member # 3148) on :
Crawling under the sheets might be a little graph ic for this forum Elizabeth.
Posted by Defenestraitor (Member # 6907) on :
I say letterhead under the sheets, it's all good!
Posted by Elizabeth (Member # 5218) on :
Solo, are you in your Cups this afternoon? I was talking about sleeping, not some Paper View porn movie!

Am I allowed to pad this thread by adding multiple punny messages?
Posted by EricJamesStone (Member # 5938) on :
In other words, is this a legal pad?
Posted by Elizabeth (Member # 5218) on :
I am not sure if it is legal. It all depends on the cost. Let me check my Overhead Projector to see how much it will be.
Posted by EricJamesStone (Member # 5938) on :
I doubt people would post much if they had to paper message.
Posted by Elizabeth (Member # 5218) on :
I think you are right, they would get qwhite board. It would be an EXPOnential growth. Marker my words.
Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :
The people believed the great drought was caused by the anger of the gods. They cast many bones to try to determine what this parch meant.
Posted by Bob_Scopatz (Member # 1227) on :
Vell, um... these puns are pretty glossy. It's kind of interesting how there'll be a lull followed by a new sprint. I think I'll scroll down later to see how else you all butcher the language.
Posted by EricJamesStone (Member # 5938) on :
A shaman might claim he can determine the causes of events by grinding up wood, but it's not true. That's just a pulp fiction.

I suppose you think there's something the matte-r with that?
Posted by punwit (Member # 6388) on :
I realize this may be a bit off topic but I'm really looking forward to Ender's Game the movie.
I'm wondering if OSC will be come so famous that they will make a movie about his life. If they do, who do you think they will cast to pla Card?
Posted by Dan_raven (Member # 3383) on :
Who would star in it?
According to the papers-- Ed Wood, Betty Page, and Eddy Prints Jr.
Posted by Defenestraitor (Member # 6907) on :
Manuscript some mad puns, dawg!

Snow!!! It's a veritable White Out!
Posted by Elizabeth (Member # 5218) on :
Bob, that was a copy of another pun. What, do you have xerox in your head?

Posted by Defenestraitor (Member # 6907) on :
Yeah, Bob, what a half-fax pun. Collate down for a while.
Posted by fil (Member # 5079) on :
It looks like the snow is merely sleet. It will make driving to work in the morning difficult, especially as I like to eat a pastry on the way in. I could really use a car bun holder.

Posted by Shigosei (Member # 3831) on :
Sheesh. You guys are the reason the moral fiber of this country is eroding. Toner it down, already! You wood chip at the foundations of our society just to get a good pun in.
Posted by EricJamesStone (Member # 5938) on :
> Bob, that was a copy of another pun.
I think Bob just recycled it.
Posted by Elizabeth (Member # 5218) on :
Well, if he did, he has not even a shred of dignity left.
