Well, okay, actually I have a date tonight, which only constitutes as step one towards developing a life. Anyway, yeah, just thought I'd waste forum space and let everyone know I actually did something social for a change [Smile]

Make sure you discuss the reality of marriage for procreation with her, and how important it is that you prove your worth to society through natural conception only.

Is blind date. I've seen her picture and she's cute [Smile] No real expectations, though. And Bob, I've tried that before. She slapped me (JK)

Beware.... I've noticed that dates often actually are an indication of the loss of one's life.

I say this as a friend of people who spend time with their girlfriends instead of doing the cool stuff they did before. [Big Grin]

Cool stuff. Like spending all waking hours in front of a computer...:rolls dice: Come on girlfriend!

I guess it depends on what you consider as "having a life". If you're talking about sitting in front of a TV with a Playstation 2 controller in your hand for 8 hours straight, then you may have a point. If you are referring to getting lucky regularly, though, I think you missed the boat.

Some of us ladies let our men have both.

I don't think it can be described as "getting lucky" if it's happening on a regular basis.

What would you call it then? Perfect bliss?

The first year of marriage?

And as one of the lucky dweebs to have landed such a lady, let me say, from the bottom of all our lucky lil hearts ---

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!

I'm one of the ladies who lets her hubby have both. Or all three if you include the XBox. Or all four or more if you include all the other geek toys he has. [Big Grin]

What about those of us ladies who insist that our men either time-share with the controller or find (decent) multi-player games? [Big Grin]

So, how did it go?

So, sad... your priorities are in all the wrong places.... [Big Grin]

Truly cool chicks will not only let you go do your pre-lizzadie geeky stuff with your friends, but go do that stuff with you.

You know.

Ralphie: My point exactly! [Big Grin]

How'd it go, Boris?

Posted by Boris (Member # 6935) on :

Oh, sorry. Nothing really special. She hardly even talked to me the whole date. It was fun, though. We saw "The Incredibles" and went to IHOP. She didn't really grab my interest at all...so, back to gaming [Smile]

Super Mario Bros 3... on the XBox? Has there been a rip in the fabric of sensibleness? Have we entered some odd twilight zone, where corporations are a bunch of commies who share games with each other?

Or did you simply make a mistake?

They have a hacked X-Box. You can mess around with the inner workings of an X-Box and install emulators for every system that has ever existed. I have a friend here in town who does it.

It's still monsterous... Bill Gates and Mario should not be allowed to ever intersect! It's a matter of retaining Nintendo's purity.

Hubby bought some kind of em chip or something so he can play pirated games. Whatever keeps 'em happy, ya know?
