In this thread, you answer the question posed by the previous poster, and then ask a question that is truly irrelevant to the betterment of mankind or the improvement of the human condition.

Why haven't the Trogdorian peasants been taught to stop, drop, and roll?

Why am I always so tired, even when I get sleep?

Posted by J T Stryker (Member # 6300) on :

you clearly are sleep walking.

Why did i refuse to take a drug test if i knew i'd pass?

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

The inanimate ain't the only thing that's perverse.

If I'm sleep-walking, where I am sleep-walking to?

Posted by J T Stryker (Member # 6300) on :

The corner store, to feed your need for choclate.

Why does it smell like fish in my math class room

Someone left a tuna sandwich behind the bookcase a month ago.

Why do people keep mistaking me for a "him"?

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

It's the ears.

How can I be sleep-walking to a corner market when there isn't one? Or any within several blocks, even?

Posted by The Rabbit (Member # 671) on :

Evidently, the extreme distance to the nearest corner market is what is making you so tired.

Why do the english make their chocolate so gastly sweet?

Why did M&M mars change the name from Mars Almond Bar, to Mars Bar and then Snickers with Almonds?

Research. That, and drugs. Research and drugs.

Will I ever reach my goal? Will the marshmallows ever be clean?!

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Nope.

Ok, now that we've determined it's the trek (while sleeping) to the non-corner market that is tiring me out, what can I do about it? (other than start wearing longer nightgowns)

Someone hacked into the main computer and changed the data to make it look like it had really happened that way?

Is it legally to use it so many times in the same post even if it refers to a different it each time?

Posted by Cashew (Member # 6023) on :

It's rarely legally to do anything.
What's the difference between a duck?

Posted by ludosti (Member # 1772) on :

Nope, definitely not legally to use IT.

How many wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood

*shakes fist* Curse you, Cashew!!

The difference between a duck is that one of it's leg is the same.

A wood chuck would chuck 12 pecks of wood if it could.

Which leg?

and

How many kilograms of pine wood are there in a peck?

Posted by Cashew (Member # 6023) on :

[A digression]Hey Rabbit how did you know the answer to the duck?? You're the first person I've come across in 35 years that's heard that one. My history teacher told it to me when I was 15. I'm impressed!!! [Hail]

Maybe we had the same history teacher? Most people think that the answer to the duck question is "It all depends on whether you ride the bus to school or take a sack lunch" but that is actually the answer to the followup the question "which leg?"

Wanna buy a duck?

No!

Wanna buy a DUC?

[DIGRESSION] Call me crazy, but what's the difference between this thread and the BtQ thread? And Cashew, I knew the answer to that question too! It's a Marx Brothers gimmick, I believe.

Posted by Joldo (Member # 6991) on :

I'd rather not; unless, of course, you call it a qvackus.

If I get one of those membership cards that fits on your key chain.

If you could rearrange the ordering of the alphabet, how would you do so?

Posted by The Rabbit (Member # 671) on :

[Digression] This thread is different from begging the question in several significant ways. First, here questions are posted before answers. Second, questions here must be irrelevant. Third, BtQ is over 2 years old and 114 pages [end digression]

I now return you to the regularly scheduled game.

The duck question: (belated)

Each of its legs are both the same. I got it on good authority.

For the same reason as "it's always in the last place you look."

Depends on whether he remembers them. If one of them is The Emeperor's New Groove, he just bought a new copy since he didn't know where it was.

(Digression) The answer I heard from my history teacher was "One of it's legs is both the same", which just seems a little bit funner.

Asking people annoying questions.

Why are old sewing machines heavier than new ones?

Because the universal gravitational constant has been increasing over the past century. Your 5' tall great grandmother who weighed only 100 pounds in 1900, would weigh nearly 135 pounds in todays gravity.

Why is it harder to come up with questions than answers?

Yes, and hammers ham but screw drivers don't drive screws -- they vastly prefer driver hummers (which don't hum).

I was nearly hit last night by a humV stretch limo that was too long and wide to make it through a curve and stay on its side of the road.

Can you imagine one of those things trying to make it over Elephant Hill in Canyon Lands?
